VHS to Digital
in Oxnard, CA

Your family’s old tapes and DVDs are fading a little more every year. We’ve been converting VHS and DVD to digital across Ventura County since 1986 — before the memories are gone for good.

Every Year Those Tapes Sit in a Box, They Get Closer to Unplayable

VHS tapes degrade. Not eventually — already. The magnetic tape inside breaks down over time, VCRs are getting harder to find and repair, and every play can wear a tape down a little more. If there’s a birthday, a wedding, a baptism, or a home video sitting in a closet somewhere, the safest thing you can do with it is get it converted before it’s too late.

We handle the transfer from VHS to digital carefully, one tape at a time, so you end up with a digital file (or files) you can actually watch, share, and back up — not a box that sits forgotten for another decade.

Why Ventura County Families
Trust Us With Their Old Tapes

40 Years, Same Community

We’ve been part of this community since 1986 — a business that plans to be here, not a mail-in service you’re trusting with irreplaceable tapes.

Handled In Person, Not Mailed Off

Drop off your tapes locally instead of shipping your only copy of a family memory somewhere out of state and hoping it comes back.

We Speak
Your Language

Fully bilingual — your entire experience, from drop-off to delivery, can be in English or Español.

FAQ

How long does a VHS or DVD to digital transfer take?

Your digital copy is ready within 15 days of drop-off.

Will my tapes be damaged during the transfer?

We handle every tape carefully during the transfer process. That said, VHS tapes are old and fragile by nature — the sooner they’re converted, the less risk there is of the tape itself failing on its own.

What if I have a mix of formats — VHS, DVDs, or something else?

Bring what you have. Many families have a mix of VHS, VHS-C, and DVDs from over the years — let us know what you’re working with and we’ll tell you what we can convert.

Do I get my original tapes back?

Yes — we convert your tapes to digital, we don’t keep the originals.

Don’t Let Another Year Go By

Every year those tapes sit untouched is a year closer to losing what’s on them. Tell us what you have, and we’ll get back to you within hours.
